Nov. ‘08: “Cascadian Independence Project”

2009 February 25

The November issue of The Seattle Sinner, alternative, nominally apolitical atheistic/libertarian monthly, had an article titled “Cascadian Independence Project: In Case of Emergency, Break Glass to Open” by Kevin Beals. Beals interviews the two founders of the Seattle Chapter of C.I.P. Brandon Letsinger and Alex Thomas. It’s a fairly balanced, if off-kilter (par the course for the quirky, indie paper). It treats the interviewees fairly, where the other Seattle “non-corporate” rags, namely Seattle Weekly and The Stranger, likely would have not. Props to you Seattle Sinner! The truly independent Seattle newspaper (with the kinda ridiculousness name…)!  http://www.theseattlesinner.com

Mr. Beals’ piece also does a service by providing four major links plus one of the major C.I.M. organizations’ email address: cascadianow@gmail.com.
